Position Type: Union-SEIU, Paraprofessional-Special Education 1:1 Student Support
Building: Park Elementary
Reports to: Building Principal
Wages: Consistent with SEIU Master Bargaining Agreement
Purpose:
Work under the direct supervision of certified staff to maintain a safe and healthy educational environment; to assist/support students with personal care activities and appropriate social behaviors; and to assist staff in reinforcing selected student educational and therapy activities.

Terms of Employment: 180 days. Monday-Friday. This position generally follows the TRCS Academic Calendar. This position has non-working days during winter, spring and summer breaks as well as designated holidays. Salary, terms and other conditions of employment established by SEIU Local 517M Master Agreement.
