Job Title: Sr Cloud Engineer

Client: Health Insurance Provider

Duration: 6 months contract

Location: Columbia, MD 21046

Job Description:

• Implement, support, automate, and manage 24x7 operational cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with IT teams to manage infrastructure, automation, and applications in public clouds like Azure and AWS.
• Evaluate application and infrastructure cloud readiness and contribute to cloud migration plans.

Responsible for:

• Supporting critical business applications with high availability.
• Configuring and supporting Azure cloud services and AWS.
• Implementing processes and procedures, maintaining SOP documentation.
• Ensuring cloud platforms comply with policies and standards.
• Administering Active Directory and security protocols.
• Providing excellent customer service and troubleshooting capabilities.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with 5 years of IT experience.
• 2 years of cloud experience, preferably with Azure.
• Cross-platform enterprise experience in IT.
• Highly motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for 24x7 on-call shifts.

Preferred Technical Expertise:

• Azure Administrator certification.

Note: Must excel in project management, documentation, and communication.
