The Endo Registered Nurse is directly responsible for care of the patient during endoscopy procedures and indirectly responsible through coordination and information sharing of both pre- and post-procedure care. The Endo Nurse will assist the physician during the procedure. Responsible for monitoring and recording vital signs. Monitors patient’s level of consciousness throughout sedation recovery. Performing post operative tasks, such as administering medication or changing dressings. Checks and updates patient files, charts and medical records. May be asked to assist in other departments.

• Required: Current NM State Registered Nurse (RN) license 
• Required: 1-3 years of clinical experience
• Required: Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
• Preferred: Previous experience in endoscopy nursing preferred
• Preferred: Knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment and medications
• Required: Pass Fit for Duty and Fit Test
• Required: Meet all Employee Health Requirement
