About the RoleAs a Senior Product Manager on Gap Inc's Retail Back Office Product Management team, you will support the product vision and execution of retail back office capabilities with targeted focus on Retail Labor Optimization. You will be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities and working directly with engineers and vendors to continuously improve the experience for our retail back office tooling.What You'll Do

- Owns and drives opportunity assessments, definition development, monitoring and implementation of product roadmaps end to end

- Summarize the backlog of work into meaningful roadmaps that are socialized with stakeholders such that all parties know the work underway as well as the larger plan over time

- Develop in-depth knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce the continual process, tool, and methodology improvements

- Influence strategy for area/team

- Write robust requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work closely vendor partners to influence roadmaps and internal engineering teams to deliver and test quality software

- Evaluate technologies, vendors and solution providers that meet the needs and are best fit for delivery and effectively manages the ongoing relationships

- Develop and manage project plans and key stakeholder engagement strategy on all initiatives

- Build relationships with key business partners and other brand stakeholders; articulates product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross functional partners

- Drives business process changes necessary to simplify and optimize operations and adoption of products; exemplifies change management skillset

- Identify, measure, and interpret results to validate product strategy; Provide research, analysis, and support for identifying, evaluating, and resolving strategic opportunitiesWho You Are

- 8 years of experience in product management - strategy, management consulting or similar role also applicable

- Experience managing major product-to-market applications, SaaS-based products, and end to end portfolios

- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations with a newly created team and charter

- Demonstrated ability to think globally/strategically and frame new and complex issues - a serious thought leader that can make strategic choices and help focus the organization on the most critical and value-added activities

- Must be willing to roll up sleeves and get work done - a productive contributor to detailed content, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership

- Excellent critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work with complex and detailed data

- Proficient at project management and senior management communication, strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders

- Ability to drive and execute product measurement and articulate health, success, and impact to business through product data

- Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships

- Experience working with WFM products or in WFM field strongly preferred
