Threaded Lines Quilt Shop has a 3,000 sq ft shop that specializes in Modern Fabrics and Bag-Making Supplies. We focus on growing sales by exceeding Customer expectations and helping customers find the perfect sewing project. Because of the nature of our retail business, you will be required to lift fabric bolts. You must be flexible with your availability and be able to work evenings, weekends, mornings and days. Prior Retail Sales is preferable.
Other Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process orders
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Provide information about products, pricing, and availability to every customer
- Upsell additional items to customers
- Answer phone inquiries and provide excellent phone etiquette
- Process returns and exchanges efficiently
Skills:
- Ability to sell products effectively
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong command of the English language for effective communication with customers
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and sales records
- Knowledge of Sewing Machine sales is a plus
- Skill in upselling to increase sales revenue
- Ability to handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
