BI Data Developer
Job Summary:
The BI Data Developer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of Power BI reporting solutions to support the organization's decision-making process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, experience in designing dynamic reports, and the ability to implement interactive features in Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Power BI reporting solutions from scratch, focusing on pulling completion data from the backend of the learning management system.
Design dynamic reports and dashboards in Power BI to visualize completion numbers for a large organization.
Implement interactive features in Power BI reports, allowing users to drill down by hierarchy to explore results at various leader levels and detail levels.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand reporting needs, ensuring the delivered solutions meet business objectives.
Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability, ensuring smooth navigation and efficient data retrieval.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and best practices, incorporating new functionalities to enhance reporting capabilities.
Provide training and support to end users on navigating and interpreting Power BI reports effectively.
Document reporting solutions, including data sources, transformations, and calculations, to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Power BI report development and data analytics.
Strong understanding of data visualization and report design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
