Job Description:

Objective:
Will support nursing staff by handling various non-medical tasks, including administrative duties and transportation of clients to medical appointments and other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist nursing staff with administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and maintaining records.
• Transport clients to and from appointments, and assist with client mobility and transfers as needed.
• Provide companionship and support to clients during transportation and waiting periods.
• Assist with daily operational needs and run errands for the facility as directed by the nursing staff.
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for nursing staff for miscellaneous tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a caregiving or assistant role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent care.
• Ability to handle physical requirements of the job including lifting and assisting clients.

Additional Requirements:

• Background check and references required.
• Training in first aid and CPR preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
