SUN VALLEY / LOS ANGELES STORE MANAGER
The Store manager role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and the evaluation of all aspects of the day-to-day business. This includes leading all aspects of sales, customer service, fleet maintenance, logistics, and financial and performance goals. The role is also responsible for the store’s operational and financial reporting functions.
The Store Manager communicates with all employees and leadership to assist with problems resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service and overall success of the store. The Store Manager will handle all incoming and outgoing orders and direct support staff for maximum efficiency. The Store Manager communicates with customers, which include SealMaster customer service, sales and organizational staff. Use software to enter ticket information and tract activity.
This individual directly coordinates activities for all employees at this location.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5 years of rental industry and mechanical experience
· Excellent proficiency with basic PC hardware and software, including MC Word & Excel
· QuickBooks experience
· Organizational skills
· Skill in recording and retrieving general information
· Skill in communicating effectively with others both orally and in writing
· Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
· Ability to lift at least 70 pounds
· Ability to work in all weather
· Valid California driver’s license
· Must be punctual and reliable
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· 2 years of previous fleet management experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage team
· Provide a high level of customer service
· Manage all aspects of building maintenance
· Repair and service all rental equipment
· Maintain stock/inventory to acceptable levels per leadership
· Manage all road service calls for equipment repairs, including customer owed and company owed rental equipment
· Perform other job duties as assigned
· Have the ability to work with no direct supervision
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
· Promote execute and adhere to the company’s safety program and encourage all employees to adopt safety as a culture
· Attend safety meetings and inspections
· Work with Safety Department to investigate damage, incidents or near misses at the worksite and ensure proper procedures are carried out according to the Company’s Safety Program
· Work in safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others
