Thoroughbred Sedan Van & Bus LLC is Hiring a Part-Time Customer Service/Reservations Assistant Near Rosedale, MD

Job Description

Act as a part-time administrative/customer service assistant to facilitate the entry of reservations and dispatching of service vehicles for conveyance of passengers, while providing exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers.

Job Functions

  • Answering phone calls and transmitting messages to the appropriate parties
  • Relaying any pertinent information regarding transfer to and/or from drivers/affiliates/customers
  • Assisting with reservation entry/cross-checking using software system
  • Maintaining quality control by following up with clients post transfer and ensure protection of our company brand
  • Contacting new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues as needed to meet client needs
  • Maintaining contact lists and following up with customers to continue relationships
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Requirements

  • Must be fully available 7am - 5pm Friday-Sunday! This position is 30 hours per week average, but shifts will fall into the above availability.
  • This is an in-person position working from our Rosedale area office.

  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to travel to and from job site

  • Ability to prioritize when faced with multiple tasks and maintain focus in demanding situations
  • Experience in Safety First environments.
  • Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with both customers and drivers
  • Basic computer skills (experience in Excel and Word preferred)
  • Ability to use independent judgment to build and promote free flow of information and communication throughout the organization that will encourage change while maintaining operational success
  • Ability to adapt communication techniques for audiences at multiple levels and use them to decide appropriate problem-solving approach
  • Proven analytical abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively give and receive feedback in a professional and respectful manner that sets the example for others.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively problem solve
  • Knowledge of DOT/Dispatch is a plus
  • Prior routing experience in the Limo or Trucking Industry preferred but not required
  • At least one year experience in administrative work preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
