Welcoming the much anticipated Parlor Doughnuts to Knoxville, TN! We are a craft doughnut and coffee shop offering an array of unique bakery items, including our original layered doughnuts; vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly products; artisanal breakfasts; and specialty coffee. Our goal is to efficiently deliver a superior product, at a moderate price, with exceptional service, in a comfortable setting. We will be opening late February and are excited for you to be part of our journey! We will be hiring for all positions (Front of House, Barista, Back of House, Dough Prep, & Managers).

ob Description & Responsibilities:

Parlor Front of House team members are the first impression to each customer. This requires a commitment to Parlor values and standards with friendliness, a smile and a welcoming demeanor, greeting customers with warmth, while taking customer orders, completing transactions on the cash register, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and presentable lobby. Front of House is also responsible to prepare drinks, box doughnuts, and anything else the customer may need!

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, espressos & more.

-Box doughnut and/or food orders
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and front counter area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food and beverages
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, doughnuts, and food items
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably as a barista or in a similar role
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso-based beverages
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Ability to operate a cash register and perform basic retail math calculations
- Experience with Toast POS system is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

-Educate customers on any questions they may have in regards to the menu

-Restock display cases with fresh doughnuts.

-Ability to work well under pressure

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
