Thornton Heights Terrace, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility, has a current job opportunity for an energetic individual looking to serve this special population. Our "one size does not fit all" philosophy insures that our 210 ambulatory adults with a history of mental illness receive Recovery oriented services best suited to their individual strengths and needs.
We are currently looking for a Psychosocial Program Coordinator/Activity Director to lead a team of group leaders and activity aides in providing both educational groups and fun activities to our residents. The ideal candidate would be excited to both identify new ideas and to motivate residents to participate in programming. Some other responsibilities include keeping resources up to date, evaluating staff's performance, and running out Therapeutic Work Experience Program.
You must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and have worked with mental health. Some supervisory experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
