Thorn Avenue Animal Hospital is Hiring a Veterinarian Near Orchard, NY

I am advertising a position for a veterinarian at a family owned companion animal practice in Orchard Park, a suburb of Buffalo, NY. You can learn more about our practice at: www.thornave.com.

We are a seven doctor practice, owned by myself and my brother. I think what makes our practice stand out is an excellent staff with low turnover, loyal clients, and a fantastic work-life balance. We actively encourage a healthy work-life balance, including:

  • 2 hour lunch breaks
  • No emergency or on-call hours
  • Limited Saturdays
  • Mental health services available to all employees at no cost
  • We believe that if we can improve the quality of your life outside our walls, it will improve the quality of care you provide within our walls.

Experienced veterinarians or new graduates welcome to apply. The position could be full-time or part-time depending on the applicant. In addition to salary, we offer generous production bonuses with no negative accrual.

I would describe our practice as very client-focused. We believe that clear, timely, effective communication and a personal and enduring relationship with our clients is the best way to serve our patients and our community.
