Purpose To define the responsibilities and authority of the Process Technician. Business Side :

Support, strengthen and advance the mission and operating philosophy team

Abide by all regulations within the Employee Handbook.

Participate in required training programs. Responsibilities and Authority.

Start-up and maintain molding machines for production by entering data per approved setup sheets.

Submit first and last piece articles to the Quality Department for approval.

Monitor accuracy of process setups thru out shift (Daily Verification of Setup Monitoring Sheet).

Stop production and/or delivery if necessary to correct quality problems.

Ensure that all machines are running at approved cycle.

Troubleshoot and answer machine alarms to improve production and reduce downtime. Set molds, asist with paperwork needed to track changeover times.

Check the auxiliary equipment to ensure it is operating correctly, everything is functioning.

Have flexibility to complete projects assigned by the Plant Manager or Shift Supervisor.

Maintain the Quality Management System as it pertains to area of responsibility.

Use appropriate safety equipment.

These responsibilities are flexible and may change as needed. Qualifications

Knowledge of or experience with plastic processes, machinery and their affect on quality.

Ability to manage and train employees.

Forklift training.

On-the-job training .

Ability to communicate and work well with others

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
