This is an entry-level / possibly mid-level position. We are looking for someone to learn and assist with all aspects of estimating projects we are bidding.

Download and Review Architectural and Structural Drawings and Specs. Prepare take offs and work on cost estimates using excel. This is a Collaborative, Team environment where you will learn and be exposed to all aspects of the steel fabrication business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Download, review, organize & understand all necessary bid documents. (e.g. drawings, specifications, materials, site access, finishes, milestone schedules)
• Establish quantities and assist in preparing costs for each item
• Use Excel to prepare estimates.
• Work with and Develop productive relationships with Co-Workers, Vendors and customers
• Occasional Travel to Job Sites for pre-bid or post-bid meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST HAVE: Please do not apply if you don’t have these skills.

• Minimum 1 Year experience working with Architectural & Structural Drawings
• Associates or College Degree
• Strong Excel Skills
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Organized, able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Problem-solver with strong math aptitude.
• Professional, constructive and positive attitude.
