ThomasHill Behavior Training Innovations is Hiring a Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Bartlett, TN

ThomasHill Behavior Training Innovations is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic, that provides support, assistance, and training for children diagnosed with autism and intellectual developmental disabilities. ThomasHill Behavior Training Innovations is centered around training registered behavior technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), and parents.

We are currently seeking a dedicated BCBA to join our growing team as the clinic lead. The Lead BCBA will be responsible for leading clinic activities including assessments, program development/ implementation, oversight of BCBAs and Registered Behavioral Technicians. This is a full-time position where you will serve as an integral member of the therapy team working directly to contribute to client and family success. This is a full-time clinic position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight to BCBAs and RBTs in clinic setting.
  • Serve as operational lead for clinic setting including scheduling and coordination of services.
  • Work with Executive Director to review and analyze data, enhance service delivery with a focus on community and outcomes.
  • Mentor and coach assigned staff.
  • Develop behavior intervention plans that will implemented by RBTs in clients’ homes, schools, and/or center.
  • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress.
  • Assist with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
  • Attend staff and agency meetings.
  • Any other tasks outlined by the executive director.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of a Masters degree or national equivalent with a major in psychology, special education, or related field of study is preferred.
  • Have obtained certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • A minimum of one (1) years experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.

  • Appropriate behavioral intervention strategies
  • Learning theories and instructional methods
  • Ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions
  • Developmental processes of children, adolescents, and adults

Skills and Abilities to:

  • Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
  • Objectively analyze crisis situations
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations
  • Handle aggressive and self-injurious behaviors of clients
  • Communicate effectively and make recommendations to various agency staff and outside professionals, groups, or individuals
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written form with a diverse group of clients, parents/caregivers, and other agency staff
  • Use a computer and behavioral software to prepare documents and maintain client records
  • Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines
  • Follow guidance from senior level staff to enhance own professional development
  • Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner
  • Supervise clients during treatment sessions.
