As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the office. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and engaging with patients, providing a wide range of administrative support, managing scheduling, and organizing files. This position is vital for maintaining the provider-patient relationship by ensuring excellent customer service and efficient office administration.
Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and route phone calls in accordance with office policies
• Greet and direct all visitors, including vendors, clients, and customers
• Register and schedule patient/client appointments
• Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
• Ensure completion of paperwork, sign-in, and security procedures
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Dependability and strong work ethic
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Firm understanding of ICD and CPT codes
