Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our medical office in Auburn, AL. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the office. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and engaging with patients, providing a wide range of administrative support, managing scheduling, and organizing files. This position is vital for maintaining the provider-patient relationship by ensuring excellent customer service and efficient office administration. Key Responsibilities:
Answer and route phone calls in accordance with office policies
Greet and direct all visitors, including vendors, clients, and customers
Register and schedule patient/client appointments
Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
Ensure completion of paperwork, sign-in, and security procedures
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Dependability and strong work ethic
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Firm understanding of ICD and CPT codes
