Patient Care Techs II are responsible for the following:

• Assists in the admitting, transporting, and transferring of patients.
• Responds to bedside alarms, ventilator alarms, and call bells.
• Provides care to patients and prioritizes based on care requirements delegated by the RN.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Patient Care Tech participates in the delivery of patient care within the critical care environment. Qualifications for this position include:

• High School Diplomaor GED
• BLS, CPR, and (PCT or EMT or CNA) certification required
• One (1) year experience in ED/critical care
