Jeff Temps, Jefferson#39;s in-house temp service, is seeking CERTIFIED Sterile Processing Techniciansto work full-time hours in our Center City location. All shifts available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Skill in the decontamination, tray assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments for the Operating Room and other departments requiring the reprocessing of surgical instrumentation.

Essential Functions:

• Cleans, disassembles sorts, decontaminates, reassembles, packages and sterilizes reusable surgical instrumentation following manufacturerrsquo;s guidelines and departmental policy and procedure.
• middot;Operates automated washers, cart washers, ultrasonic washers, and sterilizers in a safe and efficient manner following manufacturersrsquo; written instructions and department policy and procedure
• Uses the Abacus Instrument Tracking System in the assembly of surgical trays and peel-pouched items.
• Demonstrates good communication skills, verbal and non-verbal, when interacting with internal and external customers.

Education/ Experience Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED
• Minimum of six months experience in the decontamination, tray assembly, sterilization.

Certificate Requirements:

• CRCST
