• Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department.
• Overseersquo;s the processing, sterilization, distribution and storage of equipment and sterile supplies, and clinical oversight of the department.
• Provides clinical expertise to all areas of the Network involved in sterile processing and handling of sterile supplies.
• Actively engages with OR management team to ensure quality service of instrument processing.
• Defines, plans, implements and monitors fiscal and human resource management of the department.

• High school graduate required.
• Certified Surgical Technician and Certified Sterile Processing Technician required.
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certification through IAHCSMM, and Certified Surgical Technician with 5 years or more experience required.
