• Process and coordinate all electronic charges for billing and claim submission within EPIC.
• Knowledge of referrals, bank deposits; assists patients with billing questions/problems.
• Ensures fee schedule is current; knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding, and maintains billing manuals.
• Enters data and maintains credentialing information for providers; updates patient demographics ans needed.
• Reconcile all electronic claims to ensure maximum reimbursement and assists with the compilation of statistical information daily and run reports as requested.
• Performs audit moth-end reports on charges billed, procedures performed, and unbilled procedures.
• Inform Billing Coordinator/Corporate Director of payer trends and contribute ideas for cost reductions or improve efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• Experience in Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, and 3rd party billing required.
• Demonstrate superb written and verbal communicatioin skills.
• Performs analysis and evaluation of MD documentation for both offices, ensuring level of care performed by the physician is coded correctly to support physician billing for services.
• Experience in Excel spreadsheets, producing reports using Excel and within EPIC.
• Knowledge of Meaningful Use and PCMH requirements.

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
• A minimum of 2-3 years oncology experience required
• Associate#39;s Degree preferred
• Coding Certification preferred
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9
• Knowledge of HCFA 1500s and physician billing
• Knowledge of State and Federal Insurance compliance regulations
