EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelorrsquo;s Degree required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2-3 yearsrsquo; experience working with student records in higher education. Knowledge of student record system software; experience with Banner and DegreeWorks preferred.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Associate Registrar helps manage the daily operations of the Registrarrsquo;s Office. They oversee and maintain the Universityrsquo;s degree audit system for East Falls students. They oversee the review and awarding process to graduate students from the East Falls campus. Implements the applicable University policies to code the academic standing of East Falls students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Processes curriculum updates to East Falls student records, including change of majors and addition of minors.
  • Maintains academic standing coding of East Falls students. Sends official communications to students regarding academic standing, including notifications when they are placed on probation, dismissed, or results of appeals hearings.
  • Maintains Universityrsquo;s degree audit system, including creating and making edits for program requirements and processing program exceptions on a studentrsquo;s individual degree audit.
  • Reviews and awards East Falls students who have applied for graduation. Works with certifying officers if a studentrsquo;s audit is not initially cleared for awarding. Creates graduate student records for track up students once they complete their undergraduate degree.
  • Monitors department email one day a week.
  • Interacts with students, co-workers, visitors, and other individuals consistent with the values of Jefferson
