Landscape Designer

Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a motivated and driven landscape designer in Mount Pleasant, SC.

As a member of our landscape architecture department, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an interactive studio environment throughout all phases of multiple projects. Responsibilities will include planning, design, preparation of construction plans, planting plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates and permit applications. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in our fast-paced, collaborative and client-focused practice.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in landscape architecture from an accredited University or College.
  • Planning and working toward licensure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, SketchUp, Lumion and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational and client service skills.
  • Office Experience: Previous internship in LA field preferred.
  • The ability to work a regular schedule of 730AM - 530PM Mon-Thurs and 730AM - 1130AM Fri with occasional evenings and weekend work.
Please provide a portfolio with resume that accurately represents experience with the design process and visual presentation graphic capabilities is very important.
