  • JOB SUMMARY
      The Project Manager is the primary liaison between the project sponsor, business owner, departmental stakeholders and vendor during the pre/post sales and implementation process. As such, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring schedules are adhered to, issues are promptly addressed and that communication is consistent, informative and well organized.
      Responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project work plans, including time frames, resources and budgets utilizing standardized processes, templates, and software.
      The Project Manager must understand and manage through the project life cycle- Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure.
      The key functions within the project management framework are:
      • Planning- Defining scope, developing plan and schedule
      • Organizing – Determining structure of project team, roles, resources
      • Leading – Setting direction, coordinating activities, facilitating/motivating team members and assigning work
      • Controlling – Measuring, evaluating and facilitating corrective action. This includes tracking project progress, status reporting, issue, and risk management.
      Projects assigned include strategic high value projects that cover a wide spectrum of areas with scope including providing services to information technology, service lines, hospital departments, plant operations, ambulatory clinics, and the Executive Team.
      Project managers must also be able to coach and facilitate projects managed outside of the Project Management Department.
  • EDUCATION
    • Bachelor’s with 3 years’ experience in leading projects or Associate Degree with 5 years experience in leading projects is required. Degree in MIS, business administration or healthcare preferred.
  • LICENSURE
    • N/A
  • EXPERIENCE
    • Three-Five years Project Management experience required.
  • CERTIFICATION
    • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • COMPUTER/TYPING/MATH SKILLS
    • Basic
      computer skills are required.
  • JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
    • Must have the ability to communicate with people at all levels in both verbal and written form.
    • Excellent customer service skills required.
    • Must have critical thinking, analytical, leadership, organizational and diplomacy skills.
    • Ability to understand business documents such as contracts, statements of work, technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
      • Proven ability to document and refine complex processes into project plans.
