JOB SUMMARY
Supervises and coordinates the activities of personnel in food preparation and production for the patient and cafeteria areas. Responsible for training and evaluation of personnel involved in food preparation and production. Responsible for departmental catering activities, working with Director of Food & Nutrition to assure menus and production capability necessary to maintain quality catering operations. Responsible for review and maintenance of all standards of food safety and sanitation in work area.

Serv Safe
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five (5) years’ quantity food preparation and production required, with experience in healthcare and non-healthcare food service preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.
Capability to operate gas, steam and/or electrical equipment.
CERTIFICATION
Valid Serv Safe Certification within 90 days of employment.
