Your Impact 

As a Dishwasher, your role plays a crucial part in the smooth operation and overall success of the kitchen and dining experience. By diligently cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, you ensure a safe and hygienic environment for food preparation and service. Your efforts directly contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, which is essential for customer satisfaction and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Specific Duties 

• Operate industrial dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils.
• Hand wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
• Sort, stack, and organize cleaned dishes and utensils for storage in appropriate locations.
• Inspect dishes, glassware, and utensils for cleanliness and proper functioning; remove any items that do not meet standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including floors, walls, countertops, and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and garbage in designated receptacles; ensure proper recycling procedures are followed.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, slicing, and chopping ingredients as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of dishes and utensils during busy periods.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent accidents and food contamination.
• Adhere to proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and detergents.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues with equipment to management.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude towards coworkers and supervisors.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by kitchen management.

What you will need

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card 
• Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations. 
• Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States. 
• High School Diploma/GED
