THK Rhythm is Hiring an Industrial Maintenance Tech 1st Shift Near Sparta, TN
- Study blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine defective items and repairs needed.
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment to detect or prevent wear, misalignment, or other problems.
- Listen for unusual sounds from machinery or equipment and detect malfunction.
- Discuss machine operation with technicians, supervisors, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems with and repair machinery or equipment.
- Realign and adjust equipment and components.
- Dismantle defective parts from machinery or equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Layout assembles, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Repair and/or replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Obey and communicate to others all rules and regulations regarding safety and company policy.
- Support production and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or other management.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics including algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- The technician is required, as a minimum, to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics including algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for eight hours, talk, and hear.
- The employee is required to perform highly repetitive motions.
