ThisWay is Hiring a Sourcing specialist Near Germantown, WI

Our partner, a leading manufacturer of loading dock equipment, seeks a motivated Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Germantown, WI.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with procurement strategies to ensure availability of parts and raw materials for manufacturing areas
  • Process, track, and ensure completion of sourcing activities and initiatives
  • Maintain data integrity in ERP and other business systems
  • Track and analyze supplier spend, commodity, volume, currency, timing, and other fluctuations
  • Support the Request For Quote process and develop supplier business reviews
  • Assist with Bill of Materials Scrubs prior to New Product Development design reviews
  • Plan, develop, and purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Assist with phase in and phase out inventory for new or obsolete parts

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in inventory, planning / scheduling, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • Knowledge of MRP or ERP systems, demand flow manufacturing, Kan Ban, lean manufacturing, vendor management, and vendor replenishment programs
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to travel to out-of-state locations 1-2 times per year
