Exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Analyst to work with one of our leading clients. As a member of the Operations Support Team, you will have primary responsibility for maintaining system availability. You will provide knowledge and skills in a multi-faceted environment of App Dev, DevOps, Networking, and Infrastructure (Mainframe/MidTier/Cloud). You will use your expertise to facilitate root-cause analysis of problems, including the development of workarounds and/or permanent solutions, assist in change management coordination, and major incident support. The entire Operations Support Team assists in major incident recovery efforts. As an Ops Support Analyst, you will be called upon to provide specific guidance on a problem root cause and the workarounds or permanent solution. You will also be required to assist in coordinating change management activities under the guidance of the change manager.
5 years of experience in Operations Support including strong Data Analysis skills and expertise in problem analysis techniques used to facilitate identification and validation of the Root Cause. Experience collaborating with SME’s and Service Owners to facilitate the development of Workarounds and short-term corrective actions, as well as development and testing of permanent solutions for Known Errors is a must. Strong problem Investigation and diagnosis is needed. Experience providing status reports detailing the Root Cause analysis of, and procedures for, correcting recurring Problems and critical device Severity Level Incidents required. Experience facilitating a solution plan including researching potential permanent solutions, developing permanent resolution plans for problems, and contacting other support groups to arrange for and schedule resources from other service areas to execute solution plan tasks. Experience working with Change Management to recommend corrective actions and help coordinate Change Management efforts needed. Experience with documentation, tracking and reporting is essential.
