The Scholarship Case Manager manage a large caseload of families utilizing Early Learning Scholarship. Review applications, determining family/child eligibility, enter and maintain accurate scholarship records, create and utilize written communication to instruct and inform families.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with and respond to inquiries from families, early learning programs, and the general public
• Assist families with enrollment and renewal steps
• Direct families to Parent Aware and County base child care resources
• Monitor family compliance with program policies, rules, and procedures
• Renewing or determine and document family eligibility by reviewing applications
• Respond to inquiries regarding scholarship spending, absent days, enrollment, and eligibility requirements
• Represent the scholarship program in community outreach activities
• Utilize routine data checks and reports to monitor caseload activity
• Maintain accurate data entry, scholarship records and case note

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, social work, human services or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 years’ experience in case management
• Demonstrated leadership experience in program development, implementation and/or compliance
• Experience managing a large case load of clients
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, staff, community partners and public
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated customer service skills working with diverse communicates, clients and staff
• Good communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• This position is mostly sedentary with occasional demands to walk and stand
• Some evening and weekend hours may be required to attend community events

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This position is available immediately and will have a hybrid work schedule with a mix of on-site and work from home days.

Think Small offers a minimum of $40,000 for this position and a unique benefit package which includes:
