TheStaffed is Hiring a Remote Junior Staff Consultants - Wholesale Relationship Manager Support

Our client a top-tier Management and Strategy consulting firm is seeking to bringing on several Junior Staff Consultants to provide support to the Wholesale Banking Relationship Manager and Client Servicing team(s) at one of their large International Financial Services end clients.

The consultants will need to perform a proactive, collaborative role, ensuring Relationship Managers and Client Servicing support staff are adequately prepared with ongoing Servicing and Onboarding risks, issues, and open requests. In this role you will be ensuring ongoing management of an operationally excellent organization while being an active member of the Client Servicing support team developing a comprehensive understanding of the Wholesale client market, emerging risks, and issues.

Across Wholesale US, Relationship Managers are extended into a number of areas across the Client Servicing lifecycle. In this role you’d be expected to alleviate this over extension by performing a number of activities including but not limited to; Client Onboarding, ongoing Client Servicing, direct client engagement and resolution of servicing issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality operational and support to relationship manager(s), actively pursuing opportunities to alleviate servicing issues and provide additional support and administration to Relationship Manager(s)
  • Ability to perform and execute across a number of key functions in Client Servicing to support ongoing business
  • Ensure Relationship Management teams are in adherence with bank Non-Financial Risk Management Framework requirements and policies via operational support
  • Facilitate Client Servicing and Onboarding activities – advising managers on the ongoing progress of open Client Servicing issues and Onboarding risks
  • Identify and proactively manage current and emerging risks related to changes to services, processes, and systems in Client Servicing administration
  • Articulate Client Servicing and Onboarding risks and issues, providing clear and detailed explanations to Relationship Managers and supporting staff
  • Ability to actively engage and support client inquiries and requests for information – demonstrating the ability allocate and assign issues to the right stakeholder(s) and take a proactive approach towards stakeholder engagement, follow-up, and remediation to ensure timely closure of tasks
  • Prepare materials for and present to Relationship Managers (i.e., KYC, Trade Confirms, IBOR cessation related activities) as needed to articulate open issues, risks, servicing pipeline
  • Ability to serve across a number of Relationship Managers and supporting staff
  • Hold Technology Risk and Control owners accountable for understanding risk and control profile, developing, and supporting ongoing training, and materials
  • Assess and build the right capabilities needed to meet the enhanced risk profile of the organization

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in the financial servicing industry/consulting experience, and some Client Servicing experience preferred
  • Experience across Operations, Client Servicing, and / or Onboarding roles providing exposure to a number of diverse risk types, including but not limited to operational, regulatory, market, and credit risk
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of operational administration, sufficient to interface effectively with and provide support to associated Relationship Managers
  • Ability to administrate initiatives and advise senior management on a variety of operational and support related topics, building and shaping narratives
  • Ability to navigate the client environment and manage stakeholders across levels
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently and distil complex, ambiguous information to create insights for leaders
  • Strong professional communications with the ability to synthesis information into digestible task-oriented action plans
  • Ability to quickly analyse a status quo and identify opportunities for continuous improvement or process re-engineering
