Location / Division Specific Information

This position is focused on service delivery excellence for UnityTM Lab Services. A division of Thermo Fisher responsible for providing onsite services at customers locations.

We provide services at over 400 customer sites globally.

This position is located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

A day in the Life :

• Collection of used process parts and hoses from drop-off locations in laboratory.
• Cleaning of used process parts, hoses and tanks as needed.
• Stocking of clean parts in the laboratory.
• Handling of CIP 100 and CIP 200 solutions.
• Sample collection to determine equipment conductivity.
• Follow defined procedures as outlined by SOP’s, work instructions, and standard processes.

Keys to Success : Education

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate Degree in scientific field or 2 years of relevant lab experience preferred

Experience

• Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred; experience in GLP / GMP environment preferred
• Proven excellence in customer service skills
• Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes team environment
• Computer / software skills. (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• May be required to work independently at customer location
• Extensive walking may be required
• May pass through areas where chemical-based allergens may be in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc)
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to use material handling equipment such as push carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
