Under general supervision, repairs and maintains machinery and equipment such as motors, pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems and production machines.

Schedule will be 7 PM 7 AM on a rotating 36 and 48 hours per week, Night shift,

A day in the Life :

• Troubleshoot & support manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of utilities systems and equipment components for electrical power distribution, instrumentation and controls, electrical machinery, responsible for knowledge of codes and standards.
• Identify and accurate any unsafe conditions related to electrical safety, shielding and guarding, safety interlocks and emergency stops

Keys to Success : Education

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent minimally required.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of technical mechanical and / or electrical experience or combination of experience and education.

Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of related maintenance experience and / or combination training in the following trades : electrical, electronics / controls.
• Allen Bradley PLC experience is a plus.
• Other equivalent electrical experience may be considered, but only with a proven record of self-development and continuous years related automated equipment experience.
• Experience with control and power wiring. Experience with low and high voltage power.
• Equivalency :
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Ability to work well with minimal direction and within teams.
• Ability to use hand and machine shop tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interpersonal interactions.
• Proven solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems and industrial automation. .
• Capable of trouble-shooting automated equipment, electronics, sensors, motors, servos and pneumatics.
• Position will require working in a wide variety of environments including office, laboratory, hazardous chemical production, cleanroom, general production and warehouse, occasionally outdoors around the site, on roof-tops, in mechanical spaces, interstitial spaces, etc.
