ThermaSteel is Hiring a Production Associate Near Radford, VA
ThermaSteel is currently seeking a skilled production worker to carry out various tasks in our facility in an indoor work environment all year round. The ideal candidate will have some construction and manufacturing experience, excellent communication skills, and a great work ethic.
Job Description
- An attentive worker who pays attention to detail.
- We provide on-the-job paid training to all employees.
- Willing and able to operate and run all work stations as needed. This includes the glue machine, press, framing, fabrication, and grinder.
- Maintain work areas and equipment.
- Carry out basic quality checks.
- Report any issues with equipment directly to the maintenance department.
Requirements
- High School Education or GED.
- Manufacturing/Construction experience (2 years preferred).
- A background check is required.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Must be able to read a tape measure or willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
