Position Description

TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract School Psychologist for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a great area, one hour north to DC and one hour south to Richmond, VA. The client is open to both on-site and hybrid. He/she can work 4 days, 2 at both of the schools, and 1 day at home doing prep work and report writing. Monthly meetings which promote team collaboration for the staff.

• Location: Fredericksburg, VA
• Duration: Immediately - mid June 2023
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site or Hybrid (open to them working at one school two days per week, the other two days per week and one day at home doing prep and report writing)
• Full or Part Time: Full Time
• Schedule: 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Grade/Age Levels: 6th to 8th-grade

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a School Psych:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a psychologist within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid NASP and credential/license or in process in the state of practice
