Position Description

TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Behavioral Interventionists (BI) for the 2022-2023 school year. The crisis manager is very knowledgeable and supportive. They will offer safety care training. The positions are fluid so Kirk will accommodate both their strengths and preferences.

• Location: Morton, PA
• Duration: Immediately - June 16, 2023
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
• Full or Part Time: Full Time
• Schedule: 30 hours/week, 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Grade/Age Levels: 13-21 years of age

• Caseload Description: 40-50 students

Position 2

• Caseload Description: 1:1

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a BI:

• 1 year of verifiable professional experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports, and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred
• A Bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Child Development, Special Education, Psychology or a related field is preferred for Behavior Interventionist/Behavioral Therapist positions
