Responsibilities as a BCBA
· Administer assessments including VB MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Functional Analysis
· Create and modify behavior plans and skill acquisition protocols
· Implement data collection, review, and modify treatment according to data
· Document progress on goals and submit proper insurance documentation
· Supervise and support behavior technicians by reviewing documentation, data collection, providing feedback, and modeling techniques
· Collaborate with the ABA team, and other clinic providers, individually and in meetings, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
· Maintain ongoing communication with parent regarding child’s progress and plan of care and provide parent training for consistency of treatment
· Provide supervision to BCBA candidates as outlined in the BCBA Supervision Contract
· Comply with organization, state and federal regulations set forth to include professional development, safety training, and confidentiality/HIPAA policies
· Work collaboratively with behavior technicians and other providers to include, speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy
· Demonstrate positive attitude as well as professional and ethical conduct at all times
· Participate in team meetings and companywide trainings as designated by supervisor and organization
· Maintain good standing and certification status with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB ®)
· Follow the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
Qualification and Skills
· Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
· Certified with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
· Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral
· Must complete continuing education courses as outlined by the BACB
· Obtain, possess, and maintain current CPR
· Maintain a clear criminal record
· Successfully manage, support, and supervise behavior technicians
· Exhibit superior organizational skills
· Strong work ethic and willingness to take feedback constructively
