As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking several Physical Therapists to provide in-person services for Pre-K-12th public school students. School-based experience is required.

These positions are for the Extended School Year (ESY) Program.

Physical Therapist Salary Range: $55-60 per hour

Physical Therapist Days/Hours Needed:

ESY Start/End Dates:

• Infants and Toddlers: 6/24/24-8/1/24
• General and Special Education Population: 7/1/24-8/1/24

Schedule: Monday-Thursday/Hours: 9:30AM-2:30PM or 8:30AM-1:30PM / 1-4 day availability will be accepted

Grade Levels:
Pre-K : Infants and Toddlers
K-12: General Education Population
K-12: Special Education Population

Assessments Needed-No services or assessments are provided on Fridays.

Physical Therapist Qualification(s):

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• School-Based Experience is required

Physical Therapist Responsibilities May Include:

• Evaluating students to determine eligibility and need for physical therapy services
• Enhancing students’ academic abilities by using a variety of techniques and/or therapeutic intervention strategies
• Providing appropriate therapeutic services
• Preparing Evaluation Reports
• Developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans
• Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting, as required
• Attending a school team or IEP meetings as necessary
