Therapeutic Learning Consultants is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Santa Clara, CA

Position Title: Behavior Technician

Therapeutic Learning Consultants, Inc. (TLC) is a well-established behavioral health agency serving children on the Autism Spectrum. Our team of Behavioral Specialists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts strive to provide the best services to children diagnosed with autism and other behavioral health needs. Our Behavior Technicians are responsible for assisting Behavior Analysts with implementing treatment plans, using evidence-based strategies that target language, play, social, and adaptive skill deficits, as well as behavioral concerns that may be impacting learning. As a Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work closely with a Behavior Analyst to carry out treatment plans for individual clients, collect data on targeted skills, and attend clinical team meetings.

We are seeking energetic, creative, and fun individuals looking to start a career in the field of Behavior Analysis.

We have immediate openings, part-time or full-time, for entry-level and experienced Behavior Technicians. We offer paid training and will help guide, support, and mentor your career in Behavior Analysis.

Pay Rate: Highly competitive, dependent upon experience, and educational background. $500 Sign-On Bonus for candidates with active RBT Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment goals under the direction of the Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
  • Document goal and program information/data collection throughout the day
  • Provide feedback regarding client progress to the program supervisor
  • Attend monthly team meetings
  • Teach language, academic, self-help, and social skills as stated in the treatment plan
  • Having an understanding of ABA principles
  • Ability to work with a dedicated support team
  • Ability to commute to session locations
  • Punctuality
  • Professional communication with both Supervisors and Caregivers
  • Ability to communicate with a team by email

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree or are currently enrolled is preferred in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or related field. Experience in behavior analysis preferred, but not required, (the company will train).

  • Pass Criminal Background Check
  • Negative TB Test
  • Copies of resume, driver's license, diplomas, transcripts, licenses/certifications
  • Reliable transportation and a valid California Driver’s license and insurance
  • Effective 9/30/21-all employees working in CA must receive vaccinations as determined by the California Department of Public Health unless a reasonable accommodation or declination is approved.
