FT/PT PTA in Belleville, Illinois.

Therakids, P.C., a therapist owned contract company in Southern Illinois, is seeking an in-person school based certified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Belleville, IL. Responsibilities include treatment of students from pre-kindergarten to high school (ages-3-21 years), and documentation. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, paraprofessionals and speech and occupational therapists to implement individualized treatment plans that address each student's unique needs. Active Illinois license required.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing treatment plans that address students' unique needs.
• Monitoring student progress
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement interventions that support student success and progress toward goals/objectives.
• Maintaining accurate and timely records of student progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborating with supervising PT

Requirements:

• Associate’s (or above) degree in physical therapy assistant from an accredited program
• Active Illinois PTA license
• Experience in school-based services recommended but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
