Summary:

Theory Wellness operates state of the art cannabis cultivation and dispensing facilities in Maine. We are seeking enthusiastic retail leader candidates to support the day-to-day operations in our dispensaries. This role will oversee all day to day operations of our Maine retail stores.

Responsibilities will include:

• Recruit, hire, and develop Dispensary Management to obtain individuals with the best sales and service mindset
• Hire for optimism, drive all strategy within hiring, recruitment and training around positive and engaged team members
• Ensure all facilities operate with the same policies and procedures and in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Manage full P&L responsibilities over the market
• Provide input on the design, layout, and customer experience of Theory's current and future retail locations. Manage the construction process of new locations and expansions.
• Coordinate with our head of production and team on inventory supply / transportation to and from our retail locations
• Work with each Manager to meet and exceed KPIs
• Monitor each retail store’s inventory, staffing, and other operational aspects to optimize store performance
• Work with VP of retail and finance to create and manage budgets for each retail location
• Work with the VP of retail on growth strategy and implementation
• Work with our head of marketing to implement promotions and other marketing /advertising initiatives
• Direct and coordinate successful timing of all deliveries so the stores get the right product at the right time
• Work closely as a partner with our head of HR and team to ignite passion and strength in our team
• All duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3 years working in the cannabis space, with at least three years in a supervisory capacity
• You have been responsible for operating a business, or driving an operation in excess of 15m in annual revenue and you have managed large teams
• Must be a resident of Maine, or have the ability to be one
• Ideally, you will have experience supporting multi-unit sites for retail companies
• You work best in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to solve unexpected problems quickly and under pressure
• Strong, systems, software and computer skills
• High-energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
• You have a passion for cannabis
• At least 21 years of age
• No drug related felony; ability to pass a comprehensive background check
