What You Will Do:

You will have the ultimate responsibility to help implement customized care plans that encompass solutions to nurture the whole person in mind, body and spirit. You will be providing impeccable care to clients by assisting in scheduled activities as well as overall care management. You will treat your clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance the

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home
  • Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans 
  • Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support
  • Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
  • Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all times
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
  • Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of caregiving experience
  • Valid Driver's license with a registered vehicle that is insured
  • Successful completion of all state requirements and required state and Company training
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Pass a background check
  • Pass an Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) check, as defined by Texas law
  • Negative TB skin test or Chest X-Ray
  • Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions, and document timely and accurately in systems
  • Empathy for the needs of the client
  • Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and presents a positive public image
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information

Non-Required Preferred Skills, Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA, if applicable
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Have a smartphone

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from work
  • Ability to safely perform client transfers with weight bearing requirements contingent upon client condition and needs
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the work day
