DIGITAL DESIGNER Employment Type: Full TimeSupervisor: Advertising & Creative ManagerLocation: Dubuque Corporate Office Job DescriptionThe Digital Designer will create, manage, and produce digital design solutions for a variety of uses: websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, and photography. They primarily work directly with the Advertising & Creative Manager to create compelling and exciting marketing materials for social media platforms and emails that align with Theisen’s Brand and vendor standards being upheld. QualificationsBachelor’s or Associate degree in Graphic Design, Creative Arts, English, Business, or related field.2-5 years of Graphic Design or related experience.Working knowledge of marketing and/or retail is a plus. Job DutiesCreating, managing, and producing digital design solutions for a variety of uses: websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, and photography.Help maintain Theisen’s Content calendar and Theisen’s social accounts.Design and coordinate the creation of HTML email templates, homepages, and landing pages using CRM programs.Apply visual design best practice principles to the design and development of static and interactive elements (graphics, videos, animations, interactive simulations, etc.), while maintaining branding/graphics standards.Shoot, edit, and export videos to targeted lengths and specifications for streaming and broadcasting.Incorporating typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content.Direct internal photography and video shoots for retail products, marketing campaigns, training videos, and more.Research industry trends to present ideas and concepts for timely digital innovation.Collaborate with vendors and other designers to ensure the continual update and correct management of product photography and video assets.Testing designs for usability and quality. Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
