As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to our residents by maintaining and improving the plumbing of our communities. You will perform, troubleshoot, repair, inspect and replace plumbing equipment including, but not limited to, water piping, faucets, lavatories, toilets, flush valves, sinks, water heaters, drinking fountains, domestic water heaters and boilers, garbage disposals, backflow devices, valves and water meters. Assist contractors in major emergency utility repair and performs other work as directed. Tools
Tools and equipment listed are representative of those typically used; other tools and equipment may be used as needed. Use of cleaning products and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, brooms and mops are required. Additionally, employee may use snow removal equipment such as shovels and/or snow blowers. You will need to supply and use your own daily tools as needed.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to walk, stoop, balance on feet, talk, hear, squat, climb, reach about their head. They will use their hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing 50-100lbs. Use of visions abilities include, close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to weather conditions at that time. They may be required to be in confined spaces for short periods of time.

This position will be required to work more than 40 hours per week, and on any day, including but not limited to weekends and holidays as necessary. While performing the duties of the job, the employee works in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including inclement weather. The noise level of the environment is usually moderate. This position is subject to callback during emergency conditions (e.g. severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).
