Job Description

Schedule : Typical shift is a start time between 6am and 10am with variety of 6 and 8 hour shifts. Call starts at 6am and is one day ( Monday-Thursday) every other week, one rotating holiday a year, and every 6-9 weekends depending on staffing.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

1. Assists providers during endoscopy procedures.

3. Performs high level disinfection of endoscopes in compliance with SGNA and regulatory requirements.

4. Takes vital signs, removes IVs, and provides other patient care support as delegated to by the registered nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Valid State of Wisconsin CNA Certification preferred.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

One year of hospital experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance

Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties WORK

ENVIRONMENT :

Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments

Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock

Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents

Occasional contact with aggressive and or combative patients
