Tax Manager
- Up to $180,000 Annual Bonus
- Long Island, New York City, New York
- Hybrid schedule (remote candidates considered)
This role is for a mid-tier Accounting firm. They are looking to hire a Tax Manager.
As Tax Manager, you will:
- Organize, evaluate, and oversee employee outputs, including tax filings, extension requests, tax strategy computations, and accounting tasks for all types of (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, multi-state, etc.).
- Liaise with and address the IRS and state agencies on clients' behalf regarding audits, inquiries, and tax notifications.
- Coordinate tax planning and compliance duties across various states, ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Foster both existing and new business connections.
- Offer guidance and support to clients on engagements
You will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- CPA preferred but will consider CPA candidate
- Master of Taxation advantageous
- 3 years experience in public accounting.
