THEALPHAGROUP.COM is Hiring a Slitter Operator (FT) Near Providence, RI
Responsibilities of Slitter Operator include:
- Perform Set-up, calculate, measure, weight, and other finish slitting operations
- Set-up cutter to slit materials
- Utilize routing orders, forms, specifications, and verbal and written instructions from the supervisor
- Use Hand tools, micrometers, calculators, and other related tools to complete tasks
- Create and maintain all necessary paperwork and records
- Ensure products meet company standards
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience with slitting and precious metals preferred
- Ability to stand throughout shift
- Able to lift over 50 lbs regularly
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication and written skills
Pay Rate: $20.00-$24.00/hr
