Currently Hiring a General Account & Credit Clerk for a full-time permanent position in Taunton, MA. Responsibilities of General Account & Credit Clerk include:
Reconcile general ledger accounts and various accounts receivable accounts.
Prepare and review entries monthly, weekly, and daily.
Update analysis files to write off reservesMonitor accounts and collection letters to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Apply or remove credit codes for balances paid.
Provide support to the Customer Service department.
Process stop payments and reissue commission checks.
Resolve credit holds on new consultant applications.
Reconcile Monthly sales journals to the general ledger.
Review card payments to ensure commission run did not also deduct payment amount.
Setup/Remove Levy and Recurring adjustments.
Maintain all necessary documentation.
Resolve Collection balances.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements of General Account & Credit Clerk:
Must have previous Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, and Reconciliation to General Ledger experience.
Experience with reporting.
Excellent computer skills including Superior Microsoft Excel skills.
Possess an understanding of debits and credit and financial systems.
Strong organizational skills.
Quick learner.
Ability to pass a background check.
