- Detail progressive tools and dies using SolidWorks CAD/AutoCAD.
- Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawing.
- Add details to diagrams, schematics, layouts etc according to internal and customer needs.
- Ensure 2D and 3D drawings meet customer specifications.
- Modify and improve products as needed to eliminate malfunctions.
- Use the mechanical mold design principle to evaluate and confirm plastic molding and metal tooling process.
- Provide support to tool room staff and machine operators.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of CAD training at a technical school or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency using SolidWorks CAD/AutoCAD systems.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
- Great troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and present technical data, documents, information, and design specifications.
- Great attention to detail.
