As a Member Relations Associate, you will play a critical role in expanding our membership base. You will leverage your Yale network and strong communication skills to identify and connect with prospective members. You will spend time on the Yale Campus in New Have, and in the Yale Clubhouse in NYC.

This is an exciting opportunity to:

• Promote the Value of Membership: Educate potential members about the unique benefits and experiences the Yale Club offers, such as access to exclusive events, networking opportunities, and top-notch facilities.
• Build Relationships: Develop rapport with alumni across various generations and backgrounds. You will identify potential members through outreach efforts, attend alumni events, and conduct informational meetings.
• Champion the Yale Legacy: Share your enthusiasm for Yale University and the Yale Club with prospective members.

Requirements

 Duties

• Prospect Identification and Research:
  • Utilize online resources and networking strategies to identify events where member promotions can be held on campus.
  • Conduct research on potential members to understand their interests, career paths, and potential fit within the Yale Club community.
• Targeted Outreach and Communication:
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach campaigns via email, phone, and social media to engage prospective members.
  • Craft compelling messages that highlight the unique benefits and value proposition of Yale Club membership for different audience segments (graduating seniors, graduate students, faculty, etc.).
  • Schedule and conduct informative meetings with prospective members to answer questions and address their specific needs.
  • Attend events on campus to promote membership 
• Membership Application Management:
  • Guide prospective members through the application process, ensuring they understand membership requirements and fees.
  • Process membership applications efficiently and accurately, maintaining clear communication with applicants throughout the review process.
  • Provide tours and club information to prospective members
• Relationship Building and Engagement:
  • Cultivate relationships with current members to identify potential referrals and champions for membership growth.
  • Organize and participate in alumni events to connect with prospective members and showcase the Yale Club experience.
  • Develop strategies to engage new members and foster a sense of belonging within the Yale Club community.
  • Attend events in the Clubhouse to promote membership and engage current members
