The XCEL Group is looking for a Receiver, where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount. Responsible for receiving and loading product and working receiving reports through Produce Pro (ERP) software.

Maintaining standards in the receiving department, organization, product protection, and cold chain standards.

Job Type : Full-time, over-time, temp-to-hire after (3) months

Shift and Hours : 1st Shift, allowing for a start time between 6 : 30 AM 9 : 30 AM, depending on daily / weekly orders. Shifts typically range from between 8 to 14 hours per shift, Sunday through Friday.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure proper storage of received merchandise according to product specifications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving dock
• Assist in other departments as needed

Job Requirements :

• Detail-oriented with a focus on precise merchandise intake
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and handle physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and carrying
• Previous experience in receiving, loading / unloading, and operating electric rider pallet jacks
• Proficient in communication and following instructions
• Commitment to health, safety policies, and quality standards
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Steel toe boots / shoes are mandatory

Qualifications :

• Basic literacy and arithmetic skills
• Completion of required training and certification process
• Prior experience with ERP system & RF scanners
• Familiarity with warehouse inventory management / handing and receiving processes
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work in a cold warehouse environment
• Ability to work in independently and within a team
• Knowledge on proper pallet stacking and loading techniques

Environmental Job Condition :

• Continuous standing and movement on hard surfaces
• Utilization of Raymond electric pallet jacks
• Exposure to indoor / outdoor temperatures and coolers year round

Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour starting pay
